Beatles News: Paris Hilton Asks McCartney for a Duet

Filed under the heading of surprising Beatles facts is that Paris Hilton asked Sir Paul McCartney if he would do a duet with her on an album. The request was made Sunday evening during a post-Grammy event. The legendary Beatle allegedly was taken aback and made no promises, saying instead that he was very busy and would have to check his schedule. The people near McCartney say that he has no plans to collaborate with Hilton and did his best to simply be polite.

Hilton had a debut album that rose on the Billboard charts to a spot in the top ten for a few days in 2006, but her music and acting career seems to be secondary to her efforts to promote a line of fragrances.
