I Will

This McCartney composition touches on two interesting Beatles facts. McCartney's perfectionism was becoming more pronounced during The White Album, and sixty-seven different takes were done for "I Will." The sixty-fifth was deemed the best and used on the double LP. Also, only Ringo and Paul played on the track, this exemplifying how fragmented the group was becoming during this period, with all four band members seldom occupying the studio at the same time because of clashing egos.

McCartney plays bass and acoustic guitar. Starr plaed drums, maracas, and bongos.
