Yes It Is

Under Beatles facts for songs, "Yes It Is" was released as the B side to "Ticket to Ride" on April 9 and 14, 1965 in the UK and U.S. respectively. It was also isued in America by Capital on their Yesterday and Today LP. Lennon admitted that he was trying to write another ballad like "This Boy" but that it "didn't work." Others have sighted this song as being influenced by Dylan, which seems plausible if Lennon's delivery on Anthology is any indication.

Lennon sings lead vocal, with McCartney and Harrison providing backing vocals. Lennon plays rhythm guitar, Harrison lead, McCartney bass, and Starr drums.
