The Beatles' Legacy

Among obvious Beatles facts is that the Beatles will forever be remembered as a profound influence on music of all kinds: classical, folk, country, rock, alternative, rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal, to name just a few genres. Beyond music, they will also be remembered as a force for change and peace in a chaotic world, a challenge to the status quo. They continue to influence a new generation in 2009.
