Run for Your Life

In the realm of Beatles facts, the interesting one here is that Lennon wrote this song after hearing an Elvis song that had the line "I'd rather see you dead little girl than to be with another man." Also of interest is that Lennon never cared for the song, although it was one of George's favorites (perhaps because the lead guitar part is quite distinctive). The song was recorded for Rubber Soul on October 12, 1965. It appears on both Parlophone and Capitol versions of the album.

Lennon sings lead vocal, while Harrison and McCartney sing backing vocals. Lennon plays acoustic guitar, Harrison lead, McCartney bass, and Starr drums.
